This large canning rack turns any pot into a canning pot and facilitates many culinary tasks like blanching and sterilizing. Used with a large stock pot, the rack lifts and holds mason jars for easy insertion and removal of jars. The rack elevates the jars off the bottom of pot to prevent glass breakage. The rack has multiple wires to hold all jar sizes, including small jars which won't tip and fall through the rack when lifted. Two handles allow for easy lifting of the rack and jars from the pot, and also permit the rack and its contents to be suspended inside the pot for draining; the handles fold down for compact storage. Also great for blanching, steaming, or boiling corn or lobster. For use with 12" diameter or larger pots.
