The plants are not grown in soil; instead, a nutrient-rich solution is sprayed directly onto their root system. The Power Plant works with your choice of seed, and can fit anywhere in your home. Simply place the seeds in one of the six grow sponges, add nutrients and water, plug in the system, and watch the plants grow. A pump drives water and nutrients up from the reservoir to be sprayed onto the grow sponges, from which seedlings will quickly sprout, while the growing surface rotates to equally expose all of the plants to light.
